Getting Back on Track

Midterms completely took over my life for the past three weeks. Aside from neglecting sleep, I was pretty bad about making it to the gym and eating healthy during this time. I'm definitely looking forward to getting back into a routine and making more of an effort to take care of my body.

While working out is important to me, I definitely notice a huge difference with how I feel and how much energy I have throughout the day when I eat healthy. Plus, even if you are working out consistently, your hard work can easily be cancelled out by a poor diet. 

An excellent resource I like turn to is Tone It Up. The complete diet plan is definitely pretty pricey {at $150, it's yet to be something that I purchase ;) }, but the website is filled with tons of great exercise & nutrition tips and motivation to get you back on the right track. If you sign up for their e-mail news letter, they'll send you free workouts and recipes as well!

I also plan on making a trip to Whole Foods and stocking up. I'm looking forward to picking up some health essentials such as coconut water, goji berries and protein powder. Can't wait to get back on a health kick and feel better overall!
