desk obsessed

I have this strange affinity towards desks and workspaces. Something about an organized desktop, a vase of flowers and a packed inspiration board just gets me. Personally, my desk is where I spend the majority of my time, so it's important to me that it's not only functional, but also that it's a place where I love to sit and get down to business.

When I was moving into my Harry Potter room under the stairs in my apartment at school, I knew I wouldn't have a ton of room for furniture, but the only thing I wouldn't budge on was that I had to have a desk. I gave up having a dresser so that I could have a space where I could sit down and write. Today the desk in my room serves many purposes--it's a workstation, a vanity and a catchall for anything that doesn't have a home in my room.  I'm always looking to see how other people organize their desktop to get ideas for my own little workspace, so here are just a few of my favorite desk looks.

I love how clean & sleek everything is on this work surface, with pops of color coming from the gorgeous roses and the inspiration board.

I would LOVE to have a work space this big! So much more room for activities :)

This desk is gorgeous with the gold accents and pops of turquoise. The chalkboard wall adds a fun way to keep track of your to-do list & favorite quotes, and the overhead storage is both functional & decorative.

review: instant revitalizing mask

I'm a beauty product junkie. I'm talking can't leave a drugstore or Sephora without having some sort of new hair mask or moisturizer or nail polish in hand kind of junkie. So when Radical Skincare reached out to me and asked if I would like to try their Instant Revitalizing Mask, there was no way I could resist!

I tried the mask out with my roommates one rainy morning when we were just lounging around on the couch, binge watching Bravo shows and then again when I was spending a late night doing homework. Both times I was immensely impressed with how it left my skin feeling.

Seriously guys, this product is so cool! It comes out of the bottle in a gel, but then turns into a creamy foam when you rub it onto your face. Immediately, you can feel this mask start to tingle and work it's magic. The foam starts to form little bubbles that burst and after 3-5 minutes, the mask is virtually gone. Rinse off what's left, and your skin is left feeling so soft!

This product promises to leave skin revitalized, healthy and glowing, and it most certainly does. The Instant Revitalizing Mask and other products by Radical Skincare can be found at Sephora, and it's a product that I truly recommend!

friday five // 07

I'm back, I'm back, I'm back!! I finally have my life and schedule in order and finally write and post again! Here's a few things that I've been enjoying over the past couple of weeks:

ONE // DIANE VON FURSTENBERG DRESS // Since originally seeing this dress on Atlantic-Pacific, I cannot get enough! I also wouldn't mind having that Hermes bracelet to go along with it!

TWO // TWICE.COM // On you can buy or sell name-brand clothing like J.Crew, Lululemon, Club Monaco and more. You send in your clothes and they write you a check for what they take. I definitely plan on doing some spring cleaning in my closet and earning a little extra cash.

THREE // 13 REASONS WHY PR GIRLS ARE GOING TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD // I couldn't get enough of this funny piece posted to Thought Catalog giving every reason under the sun as to why PR girls are the best {hair flip emoji}. Also in regards to #11...I need to find my boyfriend working in finance, stat.

FOUR // COFFEE AND HONEYCOMB // I've posted about my friend Jenny's blog before, but recently she opened up her own Etsy shop to combine her passion of digital designing with a way to fundraise for her upcoming mission trip. Make sure to stop by, check it out and purchase a card or a digital print!

FIVE // UNICEF TAP PROJECT // This is such a cool movement that not only donates to a great cause, but it gets you to put down your phone for a while. For every ten minutes that you can go without your phone, UNICEF sponsors will donate enough money for children in need to have one day of clean water. Such a win/win!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
